Last Home Game for the Mavericks

We finally went to a Mavericks game the other night, the only one ever have been to. Funny thing is, is that it was their last game of the season. The Mavericks are Seattle's single A ball club. They ended up winning I think. We left after the 8th inning, why, Friday night after a long day of teaching, thats why.

1st Day of School

O.k., yeah I know we have fallen terribly behind, which is our bad, but here we go, time to makeup for it. Here are some photos for us, 1st day of school, and my classroom. Peaceout yo!

Universal Studios

This last Sunday, Gab and I went to Universal with Dan and John. We got to go on a few rides, saw some shows and had some fun. The best was going on the tour, though it was a bummer that we could not go through the "town area" because of the recent fire, but we did get to see some things that we hadn't before, like Norman Bates chasing after us with a knife. We stayed most of the day and got to hang out with Jon before he left for Texas (which I didn't know).

I believe Gabs favorite part is when she got to take a picture with Matt Damon!

Junior High Camp!

Gab and I both volunteered to be counselors for our church this summer for junior high camp. Each of us had 9 kids. We both had a great time! My guys and I stayed in a cabin (a racoon came and visited us one night) and Gab and her girls stayed in a yurt (really big hot tent). We had lots of fun. Gab was part of the KGB and I was part of the Interpol. Campers were divided into different groups to compete against each other for points. In the end, the campers that won got a shirt and little bragging rights. Gab's KGB group got first, while my group ended up with 3rd. Lots of fun though! We even got to go paintballin' and Gab is good!

U.S. Men's Soccer vs Barbados

Sad, sad, sad game, U.S. won by a lot, you felt sorry for the other team but it was great to see a lot of goals. I remember the U.S. scored within the first minute and I had called Dan and he was headed over to mom and dads, he was suprised. Fun times!
